The Database Design forum is meant for you!!

The Database Design forum is meant for YOU!

Welcome to the Database Design Resource Forum!

The Database Design Resource site is over 4 years old now. It was time to provide visitors with a way to interact more... both with me, as the management and a fellow DB engineer, AND with each other.

Consider the forum YOUR place. Get answers to DB design questions or offer advice to others in the community. Share observations or pet peeves about database design. And take the opportunity to sound off about what you'd like to see covered on the website. Settle in and have fun! I'm looking forward to getting to know you and learn from you.

Oh... and please do check out the Forum Guidelines. It'll help ensure that all activity is in line with my goals for the atmosphere around here. In the beginning I had a hard time deleting a lot of automated porn spam, but that's taken care of programatically now. Never knew there were so many twists to a basically simple activity, really...

Also check out the Watercooler section of the forum for music and DB-unrelated issues.

Have fun and interact!

For new subscribers: Complimentary downloads are placed on the member page This is the download page for the E-R Modeling Principles eBook!

Hope you find it helpful. Feel free to use my material in your work/education as you like. I am specifically thinking about the E-R ebook, which I have found helpful for non-techies in early SW project stages. Just give it away to others, if you like. I only hope you will credit me/my site with a link in.

Remember that you need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open the eBooks. If you don't have it, LEFT-click on the Adobe icon.

All the best,
