Database Design News, Issue #50- Database Design Forum
June 01, 2010
Hello,

Sailing around the world!

Something totally different: Sailing around the world!

We all have dreams about simply sailing away from all stress and daily routines. Most people never do it, though...

Well, I was recently invited on a 3-5 year long voyage around the world in a 45-foot top equipped sailing yeacht, and I have accepted it!

The website will of course be maintained on a regular basis: We have computers and satellite communication on board. But the most important is: If you want to follow a circumnavigation voyage, you can follow our website:

S/Y Jageren around the world

Exciting, not?

We have our own blog where you can participate as well.

I hope to see you around for an adventure somewhat different from database design, for a change! :-)

Hope you find it helpful. Feel free to use my material in your work/education as you like. I am specifically thinking about the E-R ebook, which I have found helpful for non-techies in early SW project stages. Just give it away to others, if you like. I only hope you will credit me/my site with a link in.

Remember that you need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open the eBooks. If you don't have it, LEFT-click on the Adobe icon.
