The Database Design Forum is launched!

The Database Design Forum is launched!

Yes it is! I recently asked if you wanted a forum for DB Designers, and I only got positive feedback, so it has now become a reality: I have created a forum for you all:

However, it will not be better than the participants allow it to be, so I urge you to step in and USE the forum:

I am not alone in this: There are some great, qualified moderator people you can talk to, discuss with, as well as you can get opinions from fellow DB Designers.

So please log in and get yourself an identity, and start using the DB Design Resource forum: I believe it will be a great helping spot for all of us who are interested in professional DB Design!

Hope to see you there soon!

PS: If you feel like contributing as a moderator, check the forums that don't have a moderator already attached:

Specifically in the DBA/product oriented section. Just report for duty at:

I'll be happy to hear from you.

In the meantime, register as a forum user, and start participating for the benefit of us all!

Remember, you asked for it, and I created it! ;-)

Complimentary downloads.

For new subscribers: Complimentary downloads are placed on the member page This is the download page for the E-R Modeling Principles eBook!

Hope you find it helpful. Feel free to use my material in your work/education as you like. I am specifically thinking about the E-R ebook, which I have found helpful for non-techies in early SW project stages. Just give it away to others, if you like. I only hope you will credit me/my site with a link in.

Remember that you need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open the eBooks. If you don't have it, LEFT-click on the Adobe icon.

All the best,
