A session with Chris Date!

1. A Session with Chris Date!

I have been given the opportunity to participate on a 2-day seminar held by Chris Date in Oslo on Nov. 11-12.

I am sure you know who Chris Date is: Famous consultant in cooperation with E.F. Codd (yes, the founder of the relational theory!) This is a rare occation, which I am very happy to be able to have a chance at.

But what's more, I will give you a review of the session! So stay tuned, and I would be happy if you would reccomend fellow DB professionals to get a subscription in order to be noticed when I have my report ready. Just email your friend(s). BTW: I have put a 'recommend a friend' script on my new, improved (?) homepage.

He'll be covering amongst other topics: Do ref cursors violate the relational model...

Interesting stuff to come!

2. Giving away an improved eBook...

You may be aware of that I have had a small eBook on how to make an eBook, as a give-away for some time.

Well, last weekend I made some improvements: Minor errors, mispellings and so on were corrected. However, I added a couple of chapters on how I make and maintain my website, with a few tips on how YOU can do something similar.

I won't go into details; it is all described here:

An eBook on how to make and eBook

Even if you don't plan to write a book :-) it shows you also how you can perform without it. Most people with their own Business do...

So if you are considering your own Internet Business, or just want a quick read on how to do it, just follow the link above. It's an easy read on 38 pages...
